My Journey

Growing up, I wasn’t around many animals, but I loved them to bits! Especially horses & dogs and I always knew when I grew up I would pursue a career somewhere with animals.

In the wake of my 13th birthday, I started doing volunteer work for a local vet who would take me on his mobile runs along with working partially in his clinic.
I thought I had found my passion and I was set on becoming a veterinarian.
But after witnessing the pain on people's faces when they had to put their beloved fur babies to sleep, I soon changed my mind.

I wouldn’t let all my volunteer work go to waste! I had learned the basics of dog grooming and I started working at a local kennel where I would start to harness my dog grooming skills along with training, handling, and even grooming show dogs!
I eventually started to whelp puppies along with learning about genetics and breeding,
and would later start to breed German shepherds & English pointers for a few years.

I still loved making the pups beautiful, so I worked alongside breeders and made their professional show dogs picture-perfect!

Along my journey, I worked for a few pet stores and helped grow their businesses by adding grooming services to them!
And once the clock hit 1998 I finally took the plunge and went out on my own starting my own grooming business!
I started a grooming shop in Randolph where I offered pet sitting and dog walking, and in 2003 added mobile grooming to the list!!
Funny thing is I vowed I’d never do mobile grooming as I never grasped the true concept, but once I saw just how much happier the pups were being groomed outside their house
I broke my promise and after a few years decided to just go mobile full-time and close the shop.

To this day, I still love making the pups look and feel their absolute best
And I hope my passion shines through every groom and puts a smile on your face.
